What is the Roundel?

The Empowerdex Roundel is a symbol of a company's empowerment rating status and may ONLY be used by companies which are rated by Empowerdex, South Africa's largest empowerment rating agency with more than 1 800 companies rated to date.

The introduction of the Empowerdex Roundel is intended to enhance the credibility of a company's BEE status by allowing them the privilege of proudly displaying this token of their commitment to BEE.

Companies that have been rated by Empowerdex and which elect to join the Empowerdex Roundel program may use the Empowerdex Rounel on corporate stationery, marketing materials on their websites.

Empowerdex is investing significantly in a national marketing campaign to educate companies about the Empowerdex Roundel and its significance.

Who should use the Roundel?

Any company which wants to communicate its commitment to BEE and the fact that it has been rated by South Africa's largest empowerment rating agency, Empowerdex. The Empowerdex Roundel can only be used by companies that have been rated by Empowerdex and which have licensed the use of the Empowerdex Roundel.

Where can it be used?

The Empowerdex Roundel can be used on corporate stationery, business cards, letterhead, compliments slips and other marketing materials (websites, leaflets, advertisements, etc). It can be used on a company website and can even be appended to outbound emails.

How do I get to use the Roundel?

If you are already rated by Empowerdex, please contact our marketing team on (011) 234-7890 or Lerato at lratsoma@empowerdex.com to license the use of the Roundel.
